How to revert your NVIDIA SHIELD TABLET K1 to stock NVIDIA OS Android 5
Step by step guide How to revert your NVIDIA SHIELD TABLET K1 to stock NVIDIA OS Android 5:
1) Download and install Android SDK Tools and Cygwin Software
Android SDK Tools:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Or download the SDK files from here:

Files that you need from the SDK:
adb.exe
adbwinapi.dll
adbwinusbapi.dll
fastboot.exe
Cygwin Software:
https://cygwin.com/install.html
2) Download “NVIDIA SHIELD K1 Recovery Images” and the “Windows USB Driver” if your PC won’t recognize the tablet
SHIELD Open Source Resources and Drivers:
https://developer.nvidia.com/shield-open-source
3) Make a new folder in local drive (C:) and rename it to k1 and export there the “Recovery Images” that you downloaded from NVIDIA website
Cygwin commands:
1) cd c:/k1
2) bash ./extract-nv-recovery-image-shield-tablet-sb_na_wf-37154_590.0364.sh
NVIDIA updated their website and now you don’t need to use this “bash” command to extract the .sh because the .sh is already extracted. Just download the zip of the image and extract it with with win zip or win rar and skip to command 3
3) ./adb reboot bootloader
4) ./fastboot oem unlock
5) flash-all.bat
If you want to lock back then just use this command:
./fastboot oem lock

DO NOT Update your NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1
I just talked with the support about the warranty and here what they said:

[10:30:55 AM]Me: I updated to Android 6 the OTA that you released and there are a lot of problems with this version and i have an open ticket about it from 12/27/2015 and still no solution you just tell me to wait to the next OTA update
